Rui Reigota has a personal and professional journey full of adventures.
Trained as a Chef, and after several years exclusively dedicated to the Portuguese cuisine, Rui decided it was time to broaden his horizons and see what was being done elsewhere. He picked up his fishing rod and off he was to discover the world. Rui spent a full year travelling, learning new techniques, and experimenting with different ingredients and flavours.
This experience had a life-changing impact on Rui Reigota, leading to the nomadic Chef based in Oporto that we know today. Chef Rui Reigota left behind the work in restaurants and started promoting the Portuguese traditional cuisine and its ingredients in a different setting – the house of each of his clients – as a Private Chef.
Throughout his adventures, Chef Rui Reigota never lost his passion for the sea and for the freshest possible seafood, which he is proud to serve to his clients, as, early at dawn, he himself catches the fish that he cooks later in the day.
Today, Chef Rui’s cooking style, though based on the Portuguese cuisine, combines influences from all over the world. A reflection of his own travels, that adds the personal story element to every food experience prepared and served by Rui Reigota, the Chef who catches his own fish, and then cooks it the Portuguese or the Asian fashion (or another fashion from elsewhere in the world).

Para além de ser um Chef de excelência, é uma pessoa 5 estrelas que se envolve nos jantares como se fosse um amigo. E já é! Ficámos todos fãs e iremos com certeza voltar a estes jantares inesquecíveis!
