Chef Nuno Cristóvão's most important childhood memories are the time he spent in the kitchen watching his grandmothers' cooking. The scents and flavours of those days stay with him until today and are what led him to pursue the culinary world.
With over 20 years of experience, graduated in cooking and pastry from the Escola Hoteleira e Turismo do Estoril, the Chef's journey has been marked by top experiences having already gone through several of the best kitchens in the Cascais area. Some examples are Penha Longa (with chef Rui Calçada and chef António Bóia), Cascais Miragem (with chef Pedro Marques) and Guincho Fortress restaurant (with chef Vincent Farges and chef Frederic Breitenbucher).
Beyond borders, he spent a season in France as part of the cuisine of the award-winning Le Tour D'Argent, which by then held 3 Michelin stars. It was here that he cemented his knowledge of French and signature cuisine, an unrivaled reference in the world of gastronomy.
Having spent most of his life by the sea in the Cascais area, it is no surprise that he looks for the sea for inspiration, as well as to the fresh and natural flavours of the earth. Chef Nuno cannot live without the taste of salt and the ingredients that are always present in his kitchen are good mood and a good deal of creativity.
Chef Nuno loves to share his passion for the kitchen and his knowledge with others which is why, most recently, he became a teacher at Escola de Hotelaria de Colares.
This is also one of the reasons why he dedicates some of his time to Private Chef's services, bringing his mastery, passion and flavours to your home table.

O Chef Nuno Cristóvão é uma pessoa simpática e prática. Teve a amabilidade se nos presentear com um pequeno aperitivo, antes da entrada, que não estava previsto. O prato de bacalhau estava realmente muito bom!

Excelente trabalho de equipa entre os Chefs Rita Lourenço e Nuno Cristóvão. Como cliente Supper Stars a resposta foi fabulosa. Têm satisfeito todos os meus caprichos. Os Chefs serviram canapés, mini pratos de pé, 3 pratos sentados e 2 sobremesas. Experimentem o creme de lavagante do Chef Nuno e o bolo de chocolate da Chef Rita que não se vão arrepender. Correu muito bem e a comida saborosíssima. Transformaram o jantar numa festa. Houve convidados (clientes supper stars) que comentaram: vai ser difícil elevar mais a fasquia.
