The unmistakable moustache, the cap and the predilection for smoked food define Daniel Cardoso (also known as Mr. Le Moustache) as a Chef. Daniel emerges in the limelight and in the Portuguese home with his participation in MasterChef Portugal, at which point he put an end to a career as a sales technician and a life behind the Deutsche Bank counters.

Faithful to his entrepreneurial spirit, he was responsible for such simple and extraordinary things as organizing a crowdfunding to open a restaurant - Le Moustache Smokery - and then smoking all the dishes, from cod, mackerel or horse
mackerel, with woods of various flavours, adapting our North American technique to our country.
In the meantime, he picked up luggage and moved from his native Lisbon to Aveiro, where he initially embraced the design of Armazém da Alfândega restaurant. More recently, and after a season in Mexico, Daniel decided to launch a new venture
bringing the gastronomy of this country to the lands of the Ria, in his restaurant Un Poco Loco.
Today he can take his contagious good mood, creativity and irreverence in the kitchen, to your dining table.
